Welcome to my blog, The Gus Bus. I have been working on this childrens book for a couple of years about the adventures of my rescue dogs and cats..the frustration of life has gotten in the way of finishing the book which has led me here which might be a better venue for me and the animals who rule my life.
The book began with the anctics one of my dogs, Gus, who used to be used as a bait dog in a dog fighting ring. He is a Pitty mix with some Akita in him-the sweetest boy who just needed a 2nd chance at life. Gus lives with Velvet, Port, Shady (dogs), and Quinn and Leila (cats). All came from places that humans would never recover from, enough said.
Tonight, the first night of our blog, person is drinking wine (this will be a recurring theme) while dogs and cats are plotting their next adventure.....stay tuned!
Gus is one of the best dogs on the planet. Just be prepared to have him claw at you for attention.
